Documentary wedding photography is a passion that has brought joy and balance to my life. I live for this style and for those moments when a couple tells me that they never imagined that their wedding photos could look like this. Many times they tell me that they didn’t even realize when they were made. I appreciate real people, with intense and uninhibited experiences who know how to enjoy their event and I don’t like anything that is staged.
I met such people at this wedding as well. A superb wedding at the Heldsdorf Mansion with guests from over 10 countries. People from Argentina, Canada, Moldova, USA, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Austria and Russia, they all met there. And there it doesn’t just mean Heldsdorf Manor. There means close to the hearts of Alexandra and Andrei. It means wherever they could have spent a memorable quality time together and where they could have congratulated them on this new beautiful stage in their lives. I had real moments full of emotion, tears and smiles at every step and a lot of fun.
And with Alexandra and Andrei, there was chemistry from our first meeting. They told me that they really like the moments and natural states that I manage to photograph and they want a photographer who can capture them exactly as they are every day. I was also happy when they told me which location they chose. Of course, taking wedding photos at the Heldsdorf Mansion is always a pleasure.
I’m glad to see that more and more couples choose to have their wedding differently. That is, to simply personalize it according to their wishes. A wedding does not mean repetitive things. It doesn’t mean clichés or traditions that you don’t know, they don’t represent you, but you do them just because that’s how it’s done. A wedding is about you and your partner. It’s about things you resonate with. The most important thing is to look inside them when making choices because they will be easier to make later.
